Dr. Dan Rusen DDS
Dr. Dan Rusen has been a valued member of Victorville Friendly Smiles for 8 years as our general dentist. Dr. Dan was born in the city of Constanta, Romania, and moved to the US when he was 13 years old with his parents. He pursued a genetics degree at UC Davis, and completed his DDS degree at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni. Dr. Dan met his wife, Dr. Tang, who is also our other general dentist, in 2011 in dental school, and married in 2016. He enjoys cooking, camping and hiking, and spending time with his wife and daughter, who is almost two.

Ruby Green
Ruby has been a valued member of Victorville Friendly Smiles since the office was first established as our regional manager. Ruby takes care of all front office matters for the office. She is highly proficient in her position, having worked in the dental field over 21 years. Ruby is proud to have been born and raised in Barstow. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and taking care of her grandbabies, of which she is blessed to have eight.

David Trochez
David has been a valued member of Barstow Friendly Smiles since the office was first established as our regional manager. David takes care of all back office assisting matters for the office. He is highly proficient in back office dentistry, having worked in the dental field for over 23 years. He has trained most of our assistants. David was born in Honduras and moved to Barstow when he was 12. He enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, traveling and riding his Harley.
Desiree Rodriguez
Desiree is a valued member of Empire Friendly Smiles and has been a part of the team for 6 years, starting as our front office assistant and transitioning to front office manager due to her dedication and excellent work ethic. Desiree was born in Los Angeles but moved when she was young and grew up in Victorville. She currently lives in Hesperia along with her husband as well as her three children (two sons and one daughter). When not taking care of our patients, she enjoys watching television, her current guilty pleasure being The Real Housewives. She enjoys traveling and wine tastings, and has a fondness for all Rose wines.
